Photography lets me come closer. To others and to myself.

My work moves between working with people and making images in the quiet of the studio. In both, I look for autonomy, rhythm, and a form of my own.

My projects move between people, places and structures that fascinate me. I investigate how people find their place within a community and in the world, and how they shape their own lives, within or outside of what is taken for granted.

I work on long-term non-fiction projects, and also make smaller observations and image collections. My practice is rooted in looking, writing, and collecting. Stories take shape slowly, in relation to place and nature.
